Our Therapy Services
Literacy
A child's right to read is fundamental and the process can be both puzzling and frustrating for everyone involved. At TALK Speech and Language Services it is so important to us that children and their caregivers are supported and empowered in their literacy journey from day one. We provide evidence-based support that aligns with the Science of Reading. With explicit, systematic and structured intervention, 95% of students can learn to read and write at grade level. It is our goal to help this community reach this benchmark and optimize the potential of our future generations.
Speech
Targeting a child's ability to accurately produce speech sounds and communicate clearly and effectively. Children work hard to learn communication skills and we believe these efforts deserve to be rewarded with clarity. This includes children who are exhibiting distortions, omitting/substituting sounds and can generally be difficult to understand.
Language
Goals in this domain consider a child's ability to understand as well as expressly produce language while communicating. This includes those late to talk, demonstrating difficulty in effectively responding to WH questions and following directions as well as those whose vocabulary and sentence structure are not meeting the level of their peers.

Many extended benefit programs will covered services provided by a registered Speech Language Pathologist. TALK Speech and Language Services will provide you with a receipt to submit for reimbursement. Contact your insurance provider to learn more about your individualized coverage.
A Speech and Language Pathologist will be in touch with you within 1-2 business days to discuss your Assessment and Treatment needs further. Availability varies, however most families can expect to begin their service within 2 weeks.
At this current time, TALK Speech and Language Services is operating virtually in order to best protect our community. We are happy to discuss how this service model looks for you and your family!
No, a referral is not required to obtain an assessment or intervention from TALK Speech and Language Services.
